Elite Sports is not responsible for team forfeits. Our staff will do what is best for the teams and kids by trying to schedule games to make up for team forfeits. |
Extra Tournament Information
Officials -IAABO Board Certified Officials are used for all games in AAU / Elite Sports tournaments
Athletic Trainers - Certified Athletic Trainers are stationed at each site throughout all AAU / Elite Sports tournaments
Daily Admission -Admission is $5 each day with NO weekend passes. Each team is allowed 2 coaches to enter gym for no fee throughout the weekend
ADIDAS Apparel Store -Apparel store will be selling DISCOUNTED sneakers, travel bags, book bags, sack pack bags, headbands, t-shirts, and more.....
Concessions -Elite Sports will have food, drinks, and snacks for sale at SHU. NYA will be running their own concessions stand each day.
Coach's Check-in - All coaches MUST check-in 45 minutes prior to their first scheduled game (either Friday or Saturday) at the facility they are assigned to.

| Facts about Tournament |
The 2010 event will have considerable attention focused on the prospects in the upper age divisions, the Battle on the Hardwood also provides recruiting services with a tremendous opportunity to scout the up-and-coming youngsters. A series of elite players made their first mark on the regional/national scene at past Elite Sports events, and more will gain exposure this May. |

AAU Teams will be coming from: Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Rhode Island, Massachuttes, Delaware, Vermont, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, & Wisconsin.
Recruiting Services will be in attendance all weekend writting articles and taking pictures.

- Divisions with 12 total teams or more: Division Champions will get 12 pairs of FREE Team adidas Basketball sneakers and 12 adidas Championship t-shirts.

All other division Champions with less than 12 teams get 12 adidas Championship t-shirts and HUGE team trophy.
Championship MVP's in each age division will be selected and get a FREE Invitation to the Fall adidas Phenom Basketball Camp @ Sacred Heart University. |

In order to be eligible to compete in the 2010 Best of the Spring, all housing needs for the event must be completed at the Hilton Garden Inn Shelton 25 Old Stratford Road. Shelton, CT 06484. 203.447.1000.
Note: Only teams that need hotels for the event are required to stay at the host hotel. Teams that are commuting do not have to stay at the host hotel. |
