Format	3 Game Guarantee - Pool Play Games with Single Game Elimination Playoffs
Additional Details	Experienced Professional Staff including Site Directors at each Facility, 2 IAABO Board Certified Officials For Each Game, Certified Athletic Trainer, Apparel Store
Facts about Tournament	The 2012 event will have considerable attention focused on the prospects in the upper age divisions, the Battle on the Hardwood also provides recruiting services with a tremendous opportunity to scout the up-and-coming youngsters. A series of elite players made their first mark on the regional/national scene at past Elite Sports events, and more will gain exposure this May.
Prizes	Team Awards - 1st and 2nd place teams receive tournament t-shirts. Top 4 teams get team picture posted on Elite Sports Website. Championship MVP's in each age division will be selected and get a FREE Invitation to the Fall 2012 Under Armour Basketball Camp in CT.
Required Host Hotel	In order to be eligible to compete in the 2012 Battle in the Hardwood, all housing needs for the event must be completed at the Hilton Garden Inn Shelton 25 Old Stratford Road. Shelton, CT 06484. 203.447.1000. Note: Only teams that need hotels for the event are required to stay at the host hotel. Teams that are commuting do not have to stay at the host hotel.
