Facts about Tournament	The 2010 event will have considerable attention focused on the prospects in the upper age divisions, the Battle on the Hardwood also provides recruiting services with a tremendous opportunity to scout the up-and-coming youngsters. A series of elite players made their first mark on the regional/national scene at past Elite Sports events, and more will gain exposure this May.
Prizes	- Divisions with 12 total teams or more: Division Champions will get 12 pairs of FREE Team adidas Basketball sneakers and 12 adidas Championship t-shirts. - All other division Champions with less than 12 teams get 12 adidas Championship t-shirts and HUGE team trophy. Championship MVP's in each age division will be selected and get a FREE Invitation to the Fall adidas Phenom Basketball Camp @ Sacred Heart University.

2009 Battle on the Hardwood

Welcome to the official site for the Battle on the Hardwood

The 6th annual Battle on the Hardwood will be presented by Elite Sports Events in May. The three-day event will be hosted at Sacred Heart University from Friday, May 8th through Sunday, May 10th, 2009.

The Battle on the Hardwood brings together many of the East Coast's Elite teams, DI/A teams, and DII/B teams. Separate divisions are set up to ensure that all teams are competing against teams of equal skill level.

The 2009 event will include 16 boys divisions - 17U Gold, 17U Silver, 16U Gold, 16U Silver, 15U Gold, 15U Silver, 14U Gold, 14U Silver, 13U Gold, 13U Silver, 12U Gold, 12U Silver, 11U Gold, 11U Silver, 10U Gold, and 10U Silver. While considerable attention will be focused on the prospects in the 17U - 15U age divisions, the Battle on the Hardwood also provides recruiting services with a tremendous opportunity to scout the up-and-coming youngsters. HOUSING REQUIREMENTS:
In order to be eligible to compete in the 2009 Battle on the Hardwood, all housing needs for the event must be completed at the Hilton Garden Inn Shelton 25 Old Stratford Road. Shelton, CT 06484. 203.447.1000. You will have an option to make reservations online, by fax or by phone.

Fast Facts: Gym locations are conviently located off of I-95/I-91 and Rt. 15/Merritt Pkwy.

Battle on the Hardwood
Mandatory Check-In is at least 45 minutes before the teams first game of the tournament at Sacred Heart University's 'Pitt Center' lobby. Coaches will get weekend passes at this time.

Friday, May 8th 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Saturday, May 9th 8:00 am - 10:00 pm
Sunday, May 10th 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
