The two-day event will be hosted at New Haven Athletic Center, and Fairfield area gyms - from Saturday, November 13th through Sunday, November 14th, 2010. The Grassroots Challenge brings together many of the East Coast's Elite teams, DI/A teams, and DII/B teams. This tournament is open to AAU teams, travel teams, and high school teams. The 2010 event will have considerable attention focused on the prospects in the 17U - 15U age divisions, the Grassroots Challenge also provides recruiting services with a tremendous opportunity to scout the up-and-coming youngsters. A series of elite players made their first mark on the regional/national scene at past Elite Sports events, and more will gain exposure this fall. HOUSING REQUIREMENTS: Note: Only teams that need hotels for the event are required to stay at the host hotel. Teams that are commuting do not have to stay at the host hotel. Fast Facts: Gym locations are conviently located off I-95, I-91, & Merritt Pkwy.
