2010 ELITE SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Welcome to the official site for the Elite Sports Championships.

The annual Elite Sports Championships will be sponsored by New England Regional adidas Phenom Basketball and presented by Elite Sports Events in June. The three-day event will be hosted at University of New Haven in New Haven, CT - from Friday, June 11th through Sunday, June 13th 2010.

The Elite Sports Championships brings together many all of the New England DI/A teams and DII/B teams to compete in a three-day tournament for New England Regional bragging rights and preparation for the Summer AAU National Championships. Separate divisions are set up to ensure that all teams are competing against teams of equal skill level.

The 2010 event will have considerable attention focused on the prospects in the 16U - 14U age divisions, the Elite Sports Championships also provides recruiting services with a tremendous opportunity to scout the up-and-coming youngsters. A series of elite players made their first mark on the regional/national scene at past Elite Sports Events, and more will gain exposure this summer.

HOUSING REQUIREMENTS:
In order to be eligible to compete in the 2010 Elite Sports Championships, all housing needs for the event must be completed HERE (coming soon). You will have an option to make reservations online, by fax, or by phone.

Fast Facts: Gym locations. . Board Certified Officials, Electric Score clocks for all courts, 3 game minimum, plus Championship Play, 16 minute half - stop time, experienced staff, store selling sneakers, shirts, shorts, bags, wrist bands, head bands, and more...

Elite Sports Championships
Mandatory Check-In is at least one hour before the teams first game of the tournament in the Mansfield Sportsplex lobby.

Game Schedule:
Friday, June 12th 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Saturday, June 13th 8:00 am - 10:00 pm
Sunday, June 14th 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Team registration will continue until June 5th or until the tournament is full. For more information contact Joann at EliteSportsEvents@hotmail.com. Register early to guarantee your spot in the tournament. In past years this event has sold out.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be accepted 31 days prior to the event or May 12, 2010.

Tournament Staff contact information will be posted the week prior to the event.

• Divisions with 12 total teams or more: Division Champions will get 12 pairs of FREE Team Basketball sneakers, Championship t-shirt, and HUGE team trophy. Runner-Up teams will get 12 tournament t-shirts.
  
• All other division Champions with less than 12 teams get Championship t-shirt and HUGE team trophy.
• AAU Teams in the past are from: Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Rhode Island, Massachuttes, Delaware, Vermont, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, Maine, & Wisconsin, Canada, & Florida.
• Recruiting Services will be in attendance all weekend writting articles and taking pictures.
