Welcome to the official site for the National Classic - East

The fifth annual National Classic - East will be sponsored by Connecticut adidas Phenom Basketball and presented by Elite Sports Events on June 2012. The three-day event will be hosted in New Haven and Fairfield.

The National Classic - East brings together many of the East Coast's Elite teams, DI/A teams, and DII/B teams to ensure that all teams are competing against teams of equal skill level.

The 2012 event will include 9 boys divisions - 17U, 16U, 15U, 14U, 13U, 12U, 11U, 10U, 9U. While considerable attention will be focused on the prospects in the 17U - 15U age divisions, the National Classic - East also provides recruiting services with a tremendous opportunity to scout the up-and-coming youngsters. A series of elite players made their first mark on the regional/national scene at past Elite Sports events, and more will gain exposure this summer.

HOUSING REQUIREMENTS:
In order to be eligible to compete in the 2012National Classic - East, all housing needs for the event must be completed at the Hilton Garden Inn Shelton 25 Old Stratford Road. Shelton, CT 06484. 203.447.1000. You will have an option to make reservations online, by fax or by phone.

Note: Only teams that need hotels for the event are required to stay at the host hotel. Teams that are commuting do not have to stay at the host hotel.

Fast Facts: Gym locations are conviently located off of I-95/I-91 and Rt. 15/Merritt Pkwy. Board Certified Officials, Electric Score clocks for all courts, 3 or 4 game minimum, 16 minute half - stop time, college facilities, experienced staff, apparel store selling adidas sneakers, shirts, shorts, bags, wrist bands, head bands, and more...

Saturday, June 8:30 am - 10:00 pm
Sunday, June 8:30 am - 6:00 pm

Team registration will be opened until June. For more information contact Joann at EliteSportsEvents@hotmail.com. Register early to guarantee your spot in the tournament. In past years this event has sold out.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be accepted 31 days prior to the event or May 2012.

  • Team Awards - 1st and 2nd place teams receive tournament t-shirts. 1st place teams recieve one team trophy. Top 4 teams get team picture posted on Elite Sports Website.
  • AAU Teams in the past are from: Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Rhode Island, Massachuttes, Delaware, Vermont, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, Maine, & Wisconsin, Canada, & Florida.
  • Championship MVP's will be selected and get a FREE Invitation to the adidas Phenom Exposure Basketball Camp @ Sacred Heart University in CT in the Fall of 2012.
  • Recruiting Services will be in attendance all weekend writting articles and taking pictures.
